Taking a stand

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 2 Tim 4:3-4 KJV

In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock. This was a statement that was spoken by Thomas Jefferson. Taking a stand is not easy. Taking a stand develops courage, perseverance and success. This is why I am requesting you to stand on something that is both firm as well as stable.
Taking a stand means fighting for something that you believe is true, honorable and right. It is having the mindset that you are not just doing the right thing but is causing a better situation to take place. This is the time for you to achieve an effect wherein you stand as the cause, believing that the effect is bigger than yourself. However, in order to cause such an effect, you have to be certain that you are indeed rooted on a ground that is hard to be shaken.
I hear the word of the Lord saying that in your stand, I am bringing you to a new place of victory saith the Lord. This victory is bringing to you is going to cause you to mount up with wings as an eagle and you will find that your days of weariness shall be over as it comes to an end. I am calling you to cause those things which are not as though they were by speaking the truth out of your mouth you’re going to see victory in the days that lie ahead saith the spirit of the living God. Taking a stand means fighting for something you believe is true. You will begin to see that which is right and honorable is getting ready to be a breakthrough for you. Who is it that dares to stand against you in this hour shall be brought down quickly? I, the Lord your God is fighting your battle even as you are reading this at this moment in time saith the Lord. Trust the process and you will begin to see victory within hours and within days for it shall be a quick work that I would do in your life saith the Lord.

Taking a stand is more than your own beliefs and choices. However, it is a personal commitment. A person who takes a stand must also have what it takes to deal and even gracefully accept failures, pain, troubles,storms and sufferings without getting ruined, like a high-rise building with a good foundation. This is what I see for you. For you have a solid conviction of your stand. Failure will never be a reason for you to quit, but it can be the opportunity for you to create new possibilities. You can now develop the ability to produce conditions that can still contribute to the stand regardless of any given situation that you are now faced with.

As you came before this thought, it was vital that I let you know that your foundations are important. The building cannot stand without it. Moreover, the height of a building is dependent on its foundation. The deeper the foundation is the higher the building can stand. I see this stand with your life, for you cannot stand tall if your foundations are not deep enough.

Jesus once taught about the wise and foolish builders, and this is, in fact, one of his very popular stories. He said that both builders experienced the same trials in life the storms, the winds and the rains. However, one was ruined while the one built by the wise man remains standing, and the reason behind this is that the foolish one did not build on a solid foundation compared to the wise who built his house on a rock.

I am now calling you to include yourself in our prophetic prayer list and this will provoke you to stand tall. However, you cannot stand tall unless your foundations are deep enough. I want to stretch you, yet again that if you will do this right now, then I need you to stretch deeper and do right away. I want you to go back and read Ephesians 6:13 and you will begin to find that as you have done all to stand the call of God is calling you yet to stand again. As you follow this word from the prophet, it will cause the foundation to be set that I, the Lord your God has brought to you. Today will make the difference as you do this action that I am calling you to do at this hour. You will demonstrate whether you are at the highest level of awareness. Don’t let anything keep you away from receiving daily prayers from my prophetic prayer warriors. Remember that it takes nothing to join the crowd and it takes everything to stand alone.
