Your Focus Is The Only Thing That’s Keeping You From Walking Into Victory!

Over the past few days during this anointed countdown to 2020, the Lord has been revealing so much to me concerning what He has in store for the lives of His faithful servants! The Holy Spirit began to show me a refreshing prophetic vision of you stepping into total abundance from an idea that you birthed. However, in order to access this idea, the Lord told me there are some things you must stop giving your attention to and start to focus. 

You have been paying attention to all the wrong things and it may be costing you! 

The Lord is showing me that there are times when you invent problems that don’t exist. This isn’t something you always do, but when it occurs, it has devastating effects on your life. Inventing problems in your mind and then believing them, is a clear path to self-sabotage. Too often, you amuse yourself with anxious predictions, deceive yourself with negative thinking, and ultimately, live in a state of hallucination about worst-case scenarios. The truth is, there are times in your life when you overlook everything except the plain, downright, simple, honest truth, especially in your relationships. God is talking about you, isn’t He?

There are also times when you invent problems in your relationships, and your relationships ultimately suffer. Insecurity is often the culprit. If you doubt yourself and you don’t realize your own worth, you will pass on any opportunity to let others care for you, and you will remain stuck with the insecurity issues that weigh you down. God knows you in and out.

Yet, in the midst of misplacing your attention in these areas, the Lord says…

“THERE IS SOMETHING YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO!”

Hallelujah! Thank You, Jesus! The Lord says as you begin to stop focusing on the negatives and meditate on the word of God, your mind’s eye will begin to see you for who you really are and ideas will begin to flow! Hallelujah! You must begin to fight for your focus because the enemy wants to keep your internal vision impaired now and all throughout 2020!

WILL YOU FIGHT FOR YOUR FOCUS?

God wants to move you from being burnt out and overwhelmed, to be abundant and full of life! Understand this, if you hold a magnifying glass over a small pile of dry leaves as the sun shines bright on the hottest afternoon of the whole year, NOTHING will happen…

Yet, as soon as you hold the magnifying glass still and FOCUS the sun’s rays on one single leaf, the whole pile of leaves will ignite into flames. That’s the awesome power of focus. Isn’t that incredible? Hallelujah!

Your opportunity right now is to realize that you are the magnifying glass in your own life and that you can intentionally focus the energy you get from your word of prophecy on one single leaf at a time. When you do so, you will ignite incredible “flames” that will move your ideas, your dreams, your relationships and even the world around you forward. God says,

“THERE IS SOMETHING YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO!”

That something is your future! In 2 Chronicles 25, we find that King Amaziah wasn’t wholehearted in his obedience to God. Amaziah was obedient for a moment, however he became distracted when he began to worship false gods. God sent a prophet to give Amaziah a warning to repent, but Amaziah didn’t fight for his focus. Instead, he kept paying attention to the wrong things!

This lack of focus ultimately cost Amaziah, because when he went to fight against Israel, he was defeated in battle!
