Let Prayer Transform You

The Word of God will transform you. It will change you into a positive, victorious person. It will release the power of God in your life, taking you from one level of glory to another. It will transform you into the image of God (2 Corinthians 3:18, AMP).

Transfiguration and transformation takes place only one way: by praying and meditating on the Word of God. Consequently, many-people come to know Jesus Christ as Savior, but without the art of meditation, they never go through a period of transformation. The Word of God is the vehicle that saves us, keeps us, and has the ability to transform us. Jesus took three of His disciples to the Mount of Transfiguration (or the Mount of Transformation).

Peter, James, and John saw Jesus transfigured (Matthew 17:2). God wants to bring about this same transformation in our lives. He wants to transform our thinking. He wants to change the way we walk, but these changes must begin in our thought life. Prophetic prayer is the mountain or the foundation upon which our transformation will take place.
