Be In-line with the Master’s Plan
Being in-line with the Master’s plan is what everyone desires of. In fact, even Jesus prayed for it as He uttered the Lord’s Prayer, saying “Let Your will be done.”
As Christ uttered such prayer, it is because He wanted God to take over His life, let His days on earth be pleasing to His Father, and let His plans be accomplished to Him for the world to live with hope, love, and peace. And such prayer is uttered by almost everyone because they want their lives to be pleasing in God’s sight; to be led wherever they will go, and see a brighter future ahead of them, which is God’s plan for everyone.
Such prayer is still alive in the hearts of everyone today, especially those who claim to be Christians. However, its sole purpose has already changed; for instead of letting God’s will be absorbed in one’s life, what people actually expect is to let their will be done by the Lord. And this is mainly because we fail to distinguish which is God’s will in our lives, and which is ours. Most of the time, we misinterpret our own selfish wills for ourselves to be God’s will for us.
Being in-line with the Master’s plan is never easy, and surely, one will experience a lot of challenges especially because “when one Christian works to make his faith stronger, Satan also works doubling the effort just to crush him down and lose the fire one has for Christ.” Keeping and doing the Lord’s will for us means we are also accepting the challenge that life would give us. It means that as we welcome the plans that the Lord has for us, we are giving away the plans and desires we have for ourselves and let God takeover.
Praying and reading and meditating on God’s words are the two very important components in order to know the will of God in our lives. And in praying, it is important that others would pray for us too, just as how we pray for them; for the power of prayer is at its strongest when many tongues speak of it- when many declares of it.
If you haven’t tried asking others to pray for you, then you really should give it a try. There is nothing to fear on asking others to pray for you. In fact, it is one’s joy if someone will ask anybody to pray for them. Through this, you will know God’s will for you. And once you understand His plans for you, you then must do your part to make it into reality.
